When it comes to the installation of rolling mill equipment, many people may make some small mistakes that could affect the use of the equipment. Before installation, it is essential to carefully inspect all parts for solidity, eliminate any defects from transportation and storage, and clean and lubricate all moving parts.
The foundation surface should be cleaned before equipment installation, and leveling can be done using iron pads. The gearbox is directly mounted on the foundation, and the secondary grouting layer is constructed by the user based on the actual site conditions. During construction, the equipment and reserved holes should be accurately aligned before the secondary grouting of the foundation bolts.
When installing the rolling mill, adjust according to the centerline of the equipment and level it in sections. The height and vertical deviation of the centerline of the gearbox should not exceed 0.3 millimeters per meter compared to the center height of the archway. The flywheel of the machine is directly mounted on the high-speed shaft of the gearbox. During a no-load test run, after the motor starts normally, the rolling mill should undergo a no-load test run for at least two hours. Check the heating conditions of the rolling mill bearings and gearbox; the temperature should not exceed 60 degrees Celsius. The rolling mill with the gearbox should operate smoothly without significant noise or impact sound during the no-load test run. Only when everything is normal in the no-load test can a load test be carried out according to the rolling process regulations.
During adjustment and trial operation, carefully check whether all bolts are secure and manually rotate the equipment. Check if the transmission system moves flexibly, and if there is any blocking phenomenon, investigate and eliminate the cause promptly. Check the electrical circuits for normality and correctness.
The casting process plan for the rolling mill frame must first confirm the pouring orientation and parting surface. Based on the structural characteristics of the casting, a two-box molding method is adopted, with the parting surface as the outer surface of the casting and the upper part of the parting surface as the sprue. All castings are below the parting surface. A single-layer side-entry pouring system is used, with wooden patterns for molding below the parting surface and sandboxes for molding above the parting surface. Chromite sand is used for the sand on the sand surface, and silica sand is used for backing sand. The resin sand machine is used for automatic sand mixing, and manual sand placement is used for molding above the parting surface.
